718 GTS pick up day...

Bonjourno,

After a 6 month wait I finally picked the 718 up this morning, bit hot but soooooo brilliant to be able to drive it back from Nottingham with the roof down and no rain.

Bit of a marmite car I know with the 4 pot 2.5 turbo lump and while it isn’t as tuneful as the old 981 it’s still a great exhaust note, just not what so called ‘purists’ like.... :roll: Well it’s simple, don’t like it, don’t buy it, end of. But to overlook a 718 just because it’s not what we’re used to is silly imho, the rest of the car is utterly fantastic. Personally I love it and as I’m paying that’s all there is to it... :wink:

365bhp and 420 NM is more than enough.

PCGB NW event last weekend so had a good wander around the Porsche Centre Preston with Gaz doing the commentary , some proper eye candy in there ( & out ) we gave the GTS Boxster a close scrutineer some lovely touches & look forward to seeing yours sometime soon

Just so disappointed with the new Zed Broads, a very nice car no doubt but imho falls way short on the excitement scale.

No offence meant to owners of the new car of course, you pays your money...
