7 years (Updated, Aero Skirts, M Rear Bumper)

As I'm just entering my 9th year of ownership I thought I'd finally update thread this a couple of pictures of the fitted Quad exhaust.

I think I have finally beaten Z4-itis.

Awesome car, looks great, have you put an m rear bumper on and modified it for the original lights or is it a different bumper?
Edit** sorry just looked back through the thread and answered my question knew I'd seen one grafted and it was yours! Like the crossmember on the front in black too! I imagine you hope to keep your lovely car for a long time?

Your car has always been a favourite of mine richard.. Heck mines virtually a copy of it

Looks stunning

This car looks fantastic in the flesh - some nice updated photos Richard.

it was only yesterday I was looking at Jax and thinking how I preferred the finish on the 2.5/3.0 Exhaust Tip to the M ones.

Me too. I can feel the urge.....stop it Now! Nurse, nurse, I need the Bank A/c saving elixir now.... :(

Probably my favourite Z4 on the forum Richard

Only now that me and Nosa have sold ours of course.

I do love the original lights & that work mid thread on the bumper is something special.

Every time I see Aero Skirts I start to dribble... as in that colour with //M front bumper look DDG..

Happy dayz

So reading this thread, the M rear bumper won't fit a pre facelift as a direct swap because of the lights?

If so, could you not have done a straight swap of the lights to facelift lights and then fitted the bumper? Rather than butchering the bumper? (Although you did a fine job of it).

This begs the question, is the front M bumper a straight swap on the pre facelift? As my aim is to upgrade to M bumpers front and rear on my 2003 E85.

Cheers

Correct

Other members have fitted the Facelift rear lights, a bit of re-wiring / coding is required to get them to work properly.
As I said in the thread I had the work on the bumper simply because I don't like the Facelift rear lights much preferring the original design.

Front is pretty much a straight swap along with the brake ducts etc, although it's best fitted along the corresponding front under tray.
