Better than the Costco offer and you don't have to be a member! Enjoy

www.carparts4less.co.uk - code FLASH20

(The deal is for 6 1L bottles)

I'm not seeing the same 6L offer as you (your link just goes to CP4L homepage), and I can only find 4L and 1L bottles.

If you add 1 x 4L and 2 x 1L then the total after discount comes to £59.58 - and once you include shipping, it comes to about £63:

Costco is £50.97 delivered:

I don't know why don't they just price their products at a normal level and have the occasional discount code, rather than the DFS model of artificially-inflating MSRP to have discounts which appear too good to be true...which they are as it's purely psychological marketing tactics and only the gullible masses believe a 4L bottle has ever actually been £89.99 (according to Opie the official MSRP is £56.77 for 4L) :headbang:

Yup hate the sales tactic but it is what it is, just have to fish out the genuinely good deals now and again.

Add 6 one litre bottles - then you get the price - £49ish delivered

Bugger, you're right

Yet another example of the smaller packaged quant engine cheaper...4 1 Ltd bottles are only around £40 prior to discount, but a 4 ltr bottle is £56
Go figuresame assume supermado sometimes :headbang:

A good deal for 6 ltrs of edge supercharger any M owner..

That's a good price, thanks. Crazy you have to buy it in 1lt bottles. :x
I've still got some some stock of when they messed up their pricing for a day or two in 2017, ended up with 48ltrs for £300 :) but 6 for 49 ain't bad cheers.

Lol, I think the shelf life is quite long! It's pretty much all gone now though, I do at least 4 oil changes a year.
I checked what I paid and there was a code for it to it was £61 for 4 x 4ltr. I remember when it hit the forums, everyone was running to ecp to pick up as it was clearly an error :) . To be fair they honoured everyone's orders, but it was fixed a day later. Suspect someone got a bollocking!

Nice find, ordered

Why not try your local heating oil supplier. I use Devon fuels and last time paid around £120 for a 20 litre drum of Helix ultra racing 10/60.
Also cut the tops off the empty drums and replace with a bit of plywood and you have a free work seat come toolbox.
They also sell 1 and 4 litre bottles cheaply.

Glad it helped a few out

Ha yes I remember that! Cracking deal even if it was a mistake, I was too slow on the uptake at the time. Though I did take advantage of quite a few people selling it on at a later date for a small markup but still relatively cheap

Are you doing that rod bearing change this year out of interest? Very interested to see how they come out........

Yeah, there certainly seemed to be a lot of 'spare' castrol on the second hand market for a while! :P
I'm planning the bearings for the winter, will be interesting.

I ordered these. I only received 4 out of the 6 litres. Gave them a call today so I'm hoping the other two arrive this week

Yes,but 4 litres for £45.60, as opposed to the 6 litres for £49, and you need 6 litres for an M oil change
