So #69 has gone off to Dingmaster in Swindon for the following (which makes her sound like she's been in a warzone)

NSR Wing - Vertical crease removed if PDR possible. If not it's so minor leave it alone for now. I know it's there though and it pisses me off
NS Door mirror - polish out scuff
NSF Wing - Correct Paint chip that's through to primer
Front Spoiler - Respray
Bonnet - touch up a couple of stone chips
OS Door - Remove paint chip on door edge
OSR wing - Repair minor dent
Rear Bumper - Repair Scuff

Mop car to remove swirls.

Hopefully they'll do as good a job as they did on my S-Max. I've told them I'll be putting the results online here and on the Alpina Register and asked if they'll do before, during and after pics. I've got some before pics that I'll add shortly if they came out OK

A bit grubby when I took these. No point posting the spoiler pics as you can't see the gravel rash for the fly cemetary...

I should add that all of these bits and bobs came with the car. She's much better looked after now :)

Rear wing dent is tough to see. It's a vertical line about 10cm back from door gap.

Bonnet stone chip. Not really something to fret about but as she's in the shop anyway...

You can't really see all the stone chips amongst the dead flies but trust me, it's like the surface of the moon. Too far gone for a touch up stick.

Minor PC issues preventing me from importing "after" pics but I'm really happy with what they've done. They've taken some "during" pics and will send them over to me during the next day or two. I'll have to work out why my system isn't recognising the memory card...

Rear Wing vertical crease has vanished. They weren't sure how good a gob they could do here...

Chip on front wing vanished

Door Mirror Scuff Free

Door chip touched up. The other marks on the door are dust

Rear Wheel Arch dent removed. He says there's a tiny residual dent but I'm damned if I can find it...

Back Bumper all lovely and scuff free

Spoiler Resprayed. I'm going to replace the Alpina lettering, but I actually like it better without the stripes

So all in all, I'm chuffed to bits. Less than £450 including the dreaded VAT. They've taken out a lot of the swirls, I think another run over with a DA polisher will see the last of them gone but that wasn't what I was paying for really.

But treat yourself to a new front numberplate to tidy up that discolouration on the left side, and stick it on for cleaness.

Great improvement

Was the Alpina writing cream coloured before :?

Thanks, no it was silver/grey coloured adhesive stickers over the highlights. A complete set including stripes is only £35

Thanks all :)

If the weather holds tomorrow, the AutoGlym superwax and Resin polish is coming out to play...
