I'm a little disappointed that Paza3 has felt the need to pull his ad. He's well known for going through cars faster than I have shiny moments and his ad was straightforward enough. Wanting to sell to someone on the forum means your car is going to a fellow enthusiast, not that you're dropping your trousers. Given his current job concerns, liquidating some assets makes sense.

Some people on here are traders and I don't see criticism for them making money buying and selling, nor do I see any major criticism of dealers buying up cars and selling them. Even Hexagon gets some grudging respect for snapping up cars and selling them at inflated prices as it does the value of our cars some good.

If anyone had wanted it they could have done due diligence on the previous price and made an offer.

Its become silly , first time ever I 've requested a thread to be closed in 15 years of forums but its becoming a mass debate not a sale ad... yep it was up for 20k as Mick was about to trade it in at the garage he paid 28k for it in Oct 2013.
It was a good deal less that book price at trade (currently 21.5k) so I bought it. I might well have it up for 24k do i expect to receive the full price no... so feel free to make an offer!

Lets just end this one hear I think :|

Was not this same car for sale on here 4 weeks ago?

For a considerably cheaper price???

Smells more like speculation to me.

This is the ad in question. http://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=41&t=62189

Will leave you members to draw your own conclusions but 'would love to see it go to a forum member' bla bla does not make it a genuine sale or seller.

The prior owner of this car was much more honest and circumspect than this new owner.

Congratulations on winning the dick of the week award.
It's actually been quite a week for dick posts, but after discussion, the panel decided to award yours as the "winning" post.

you'd have been perfectly fine by me posting that it had previously been up for a lower price,
but to bring the OP's legitimacy into question is just plain dickish.
I've never dealt with him, but he has been here a lot longer than you, has contributed a lot more, and I've seen him sell on his cars here before, and the buyer being very pleased with the purchase.

there is ZERO reason in my mind to doubt Paza3.

So please do tell, whats your suspicion based on?
Have you bought from him before and had a bad experience?
Do you know him personally and know him to be a bit of a dell boy?
Do you work in the same industry as him and know what he's saying to be false?

If not.. then you have a right to question, but no right to insult.

This forum seems to be going to pot recently with a lot of people sniping and arguing with others.
Does this mark the "new breed of tools" taking over?

:/

Paza3,

I'm sorry to hear about your situation, and I hope it all works out ok for you.
If you're still selling, albeit someone a little friendlier, like AutoTrader or Mogadishu, good luck with the sale!

The point being though Stuart is that if anyone (irrespective of being a member on here) would have done the same,it would be pointed out and applauded by other members..

Trying to get £4000 in 3 weeks is a good ask,and i applaud Paza for trying, but try elsewhere, not where he bought it for £20k weeks earlier..

Thats blatantly taking the p!ss IMHO..

This is getting bonkers guys lets just leave it ... hopefully admin pick this up soon

If I offended anyone , this was never intended , I had just finished the ebay advert , and thought I would drop a post.. PH to follow

If I implied a special rate somehow? in my advert once again never intended... I cannot see how I did .. and thought it would be nice for someone to have it in the forum... if that means a cut throat price these days then I missed that memo. This seems to be the main issue.

If my circumstances were different I certainly would not be selling it..... but sadly its not

Hope this clears any issues up

Cheers
