6310 Phone Cradle

No I haven't cracked up, I've decided to go retro! Does anyone have an unused cradle??

In seriousness I left my phone at home by accident last week and after hyperventilating for the first hour the freedom from a touch screen was amazing. I had to walk to lunch enjoying my surroundings instead of reading my emails!

I just need a legacy phone so I'm not fully off grid from my family.

Well its a game of two halves. My coupe has the phone prep so all I need here would be the cradle I think. However looking at the recent reproduction of the 8310 its not the same as the original. I think I'm heading down a dead end here:


The roadster on the other hand might be a few steps to far. Its not got phone prep but I dont really want all the functionality other than cradle and charging. At a minimimum I'd need a replacement rear centre console door with phone prep (or space for it), cradle and some type of loom or wiring to feed a 12v supply.
Given all that I might just put it in the door pocket!!

I had a look and found a ZX81 and a Topps football card of Emlyn Hughes.
