Maybe not exactly a silk glove but apart from a leaf sprung rear axle it is quite a modern car. Disc brakes, 5 speed synchro box, 3 litre V12 300hp and only weighs just under 900kg
It was a race car however so no headliner or carpets and only cloth seats. I would imagine it's quite a visceral and sonorous experience to drive one. If only...

It's actually a '62 'Series 1' car, the third built but it was rebodied by Scaglietti in '64 with the 'Series II' body.
