60 service Z4C auto

I'm currently looking for an Auto Coupe for around 12-14k, thanks to those who have replied to my previous thread.

I was chatting to a dealer the other day and he warned me against buying one with 50-60 miles on the clock as the 6ok service will cost around £2000.

Can you guys confirm if this is the case?
 
inspection 2's are the more costly ones

But £2k is even over double it would cost for the Z4M inspection 2
 
TBF if it needs it doing when your spending 12-14k on it I would expect the dealer to do it before I picked it up. No point spending nearly 10% the value of the car straight away when it should be done in pre buy preparation.

An inspection 2 for a 3.0 is about 450-500 depending where you go? Not entirely sure as I have an M but as Ranski says 2k is just BS.

It's also hard to tell when the Coupés have had the inspection II service. Many 40-45k milers have already had it carried out. Best to check each individual cars service history to gauge how far you will be away from the Insp II.

At 12-14k for a coupé you will be looking at the higher end of the market anyway, so as Tom said, you'd expect a dealer to throw the Insp II in if needed.
 
Inspection 2 at BMW is about £320 as the Z is on their promo for Service discounts indefinitely

Best ask a BMW dealer than Mr Rouge trader who doesn't know anything about it

Even an M car Inspection 2 is about £1000 and less depending on where you go.
 
I guess he was trying to suggest a newer more expensive Z they have on the forecourt?

Haha 2K - is he mad!

He is either badly mis-informed, or trying to make his car a better buy by being dishonest - I would be wary of buying from the dealer now!! :thumbsdown:
