After 6 weeks of not being able to drive due to an operation I have today been given the all clear to get back behind the wheel by my consultant and my insurance company. This has been the longest I have ever gone without driving since I passed my test 21 years ago, so I am just itching to have a blast..

I have spent the last 6 weeks being ferried about in a Ford Galaxy, so you can imagine how excited I am about tomorrow when I will have a bit of "us time", that is me and zed!!

Hope I can remember everything :D

Just remember left pedal is the gas

or is it right pedal?

j/k
Good luck, I don't know how I can could handle 6 weeks no driving....I suffer withdrawal symptoms if I don't drive for 3 days (weekend)

I can see it now... you'll have ripped out your stitchings after a good run in the Zed. :driving:

No pain... no pleasure

Depends on if it's a U.S spec or U.K. spec Z4

yeah I thought about that as I posted. I have no idea if it's different. I hope not, if I get a beater car up there I don't want to have to get my left foot used to using the gas pedal
