6 Series

I've had 2, both Convertibles, one a 645 and the other 650....great cars, but I think a bit long in the tooth now....I'd go for a Range Rover Sport instead....

No mechanical issues whatsoever, just a faulty roof sensor on my first one, which lasted 18 months!! Servicing, tyres etc aren't cheap though....stay away from black and cream leather ones, they can look tired very quickly...

Drove the new 640d recently after setting a friends father in law up with a good deal on one. It was very impressive although not something i'd every buy as they are intended for chairman of the board types in their 60s who play golf at the weekends (not me). The interior especially was a cut above every other BMW.

Had a shot of the previous M6. It had a bloody awful gearbox which is a well documented complaint from many that bought them.

The E24 yes - its the only real 6 series. Had an 88 635Csi Highline for 2 years, sublime machine.

Still one of my favorite cars, classic lines.
