So , been a while .. Bought a cheap as chips 3.0 ... And things that have costied the wallet so far .

Brake pads .. brembos , changed em myself and cleaned the calpiers while I was at it .
Tracking .. Did not do that myself .
Starter Motor .. totally ate itself , if I had taken the end cap off I reckon it would all have fallen out as a sherbet and smarties .
Tyres .. all round .
Full service .
Various Autoglym products .

Feelings on ownership , pretty much in the quite good bracket , goes okay , tours quite well ... quick but not fast . Quite a relaxing drive very little thought required , just goes as it should . Can fit fishing rods and shopping in it , off road capability woeful :lol:

all those leaves .. yeah seems to collect leaves like a young offender on day release .

She be less green more black .. but will maybe need another go .. see how it looks once fully dry .

Need to get that lifted by about a foot and stick some mud pluggers on and the off road capability will be much better. Get a snorkel and you can go deep wading as well.

I've had mine only a couple of months, not had to spend anything.... yet. However, drive wise I'm in complete agreement with you.
Slightly less 'exciting' than my previous but infinitely much more livable with for a daily driver.

how much is cheap as chips if you dont mind me asking?. Ive had 3 Z4 this year all fair priced my first was silver wished id not sold it now yours is lovley best colour to catch those curves/lines

Some slack left from £4000 , 70'000 on the clock FSH .. age related wear and tear , crap tyres and an engine light , that was cleared and never returned .
 
I've had 1 silver and 2 black Z4 e85 im going back to silver in 2017 will be buying another. You see those lines so well on a silver one great colour
