To take the zed to my nearest shell garage on Tuesday would cost more in fuel than I would save :headbang:

The zed stays put until the weekend :)
 
Be careful people if you plan to drive out of your way for this offer, or fill up early because of the offer!

Just called in at the Shell garage on the way into work, filled up, and then was told, "sorry we're not participating"

What a SCAM!

You're right, there is. Just re-checked my phone, I downloaded it on 11 Feb, and the station I went to is on there! I think a phonecall is required! I was pretty sure it was, I needed to fill up, and I was driving past on my way into work, so thought I was actually winning one!
 
Mmmm - Tesco are offering 10p off a litre around here and have been doing so for several weeks.


Guess it depends on where you live, shop and if like me, you're cynical about the price popping up a few pence before the discounts are offered.

Don't you have to spend £40/60 with them first though?

Last week I filled up with V-Power in Liverpool at 141.9p and then filled up again at 147.9p in London for the trip back.

Luckily I'm nearly empty again, so will take advantage of the 5p off at a local (cheap) Shell garage and get it for 135.9p for a whole £2.50 saving :thumbsup:

ETA, the price of normal unleaded at my local Shell has risen to 132.9p from 131.9p (obviously to offset the V-Power discounts).

Just out of interest have any of you got the shell vpower club card? I was told months ago that i qualified for this but nothing has arrived and i'm not quite sure what the benefit is or whether i am getting any benefit from shell club for keep chucking in the vpower fuel.

I got one :D

They send you vouchers now and again, depending on how much fuel you've bought, but they do that with the normal card. Vouchers they send through are worth more on V-Power...
