Went to see the coachtrimmers today to choose the colours for my M Seat retrim...

... anyway, we got chatting and they gave me a cracking deal if I wanted to have my 5er done too. I think they like the idea of adding a couple of BMWs to their portfolio.

This is the car

And the interior is bog standard black... now, what does everyone think of this:

but without the logo on the headrests. Too much??

That's way over the top for a one series. Sort of thing you see in a Zonda.

Not my cup of tea though, others will probably love.

I know what you mean... its just that every 5 series you see as back, grey or beige interiors. Not very inspiring. Wasn't necessarily thinking of the diamond stitching, more the colour. I do like the Amarone colour that BMW do as well...

The colour is lovely, but IMO the diamond stitching is too much - too super car wannabe ? Might be ok if any diamond (or other) stitching was more subtle and kept WELL away from the doors.

I like the colour and the diamond stitching, that must be going to cost a fortune?

No. They've suggested a price which I think is pretty good...

That's what I thought... I do love the colour though. It's all a bit hypothetical anyway. They've given me a very good price, but not sure that the car is a 'keeper' like the zed. Got a hankering for a 6 series...

I like the colour too... but the diamond stitching suits a wooden dash in a bently more..

Seems to be the consensus here!

But if you like it... go for it... its your car!!

You have any more pictures of your 5 er... looks very tasty with the quad exhaust!

It may be a little too much, but hell yeah I love it. It looks so much nicer than the standard one. Go for a modest version of this one and istead of aluminum trim try something like piano black
