Hello all.

Time has come to part with my wonderful baby. After just shy of a year, new job plus family = bye bye toys.

Gent came round this evening. Deal done for more than asking. Chuffed but feel guilty for all those who'd booked in to come see it. How do people deal with that?
So that's her. She has done 78k miles, the last 18 of which were done by me. No mods or anything silly. I've cared for her and she's been lovingly looked after.
A couple of scratches and scuffs but nothing serious. Tyres have done 13k but have plenty of tread left on the front and a good few thousand left on the rear. Brake pads look fine, fronts were new when we bought her and rears have fair amount of life left too.

Optional extras....
Bluetooth, Satnav and parking sensors are the main ones.
Aux in, full electric and heated seats with memory. Roof has the one touch opening activated too.

We paid £10k about 12 months ago and so looking for £8250. One way or the other she will be going within a month.

Price has reduced as I've found a car but not getting what I would hope for P/X.

Some more pics to tempt y'all!

Bit of a bump up but also we have put in an offer on the car we want which has been accepted.
We are looking to sell quickly, I can travel a little to meet as we have a week or so.

PM me if you're interested. She has had fresh MOT today and new rear pads/discs. Don't let this car be p/xed to some dealer. She's on Autotrader as well so if you know anyone...

I've just signed up to the forum (1st post!) as I'm interested in getting myself a Z4. Still early stages and my budget is a bit lower than the asking price, however, I wanted to let you know I am keeping an eye on this. I understand you have until end of March to sell or PX?

Do you have any additional pictures of the interior?

If I was more local I'd pop in to have a look, but as I'm in London I need to have a look at some more local cars to get a feeling of what they're like, etc.

In the meantime, GLWTS!

Thanks. I don't have any at the moment, thought I would have done. She's in need of a clean at the moment which I was going to do tomorrow. I'll post some more then.

We've had an offer accepted on a car we were looking at so at the latest she will be going by the weekend unless we get a firm offer.
I'm willing to travel a bit if you're interested. Could meet halfway on a week night?

If not, good luck with finding a car. Mrs D and I have loved ours and if we could afford to run two cars we wouldn't be selling her. I've found people who're negative about them fall into two categories. Those who don't want to like Z4s/BMWs and those who haven't tried driving a Z4. The ride can be firm with the run flats but that is easily remedied by not refitting them.
Only advice I'd give is go for a 6 cylinder if you can. Some people like the 2.0 but the 6 is the real deal.

I possibly could meet halfway although next week I might be travelling abroad for work...

Definitely on for a 6cyl, had an S2000 before and, nice as it was, as soon as I drove my friend's 2.5 Z4 I loved the noise!

Hi Richard, I'm very interested to view the car... I'm off tues and wed. I live in chesterfield, where are you based?

So I'm not wasting your time can you answer a few questions for me.

1) what are the condition of all the alloys?
2) has the clutch been changed, if not does it slip at any point?
3) do you have all proof of work carried out?
4) have the service intervals been done at the correct times? As I'm looking to get warranty on the car from a third party.
5) any issues the car has had that I should be aware of?

Sorry for all the questions,
I have been looking on and off for a few months and I'm now in a position to purchase.

Like yourself I have just sold a car at part ex value as I can't stand the thought of dealers taking your pride and joy off of you. Mine went to a Alfa enthusiast so I'm happy!

Regards Mark

Thanks for the reply. I'm fine with the alloys. I can get a price for those. The scuffs on the front and rear concern me slightly. Would it be possible to email a couple of pics?
Everything else sounds fine to me.

I think you originally posted on my newbie quote last year
I would like my wife to join me to see it if possible but not essential.

Could you send me your postcode to see how far you are away? I would like to see the car in the daylight if possible. How long have you got before you have to part ex?

Regards Mark
