Hi all,
due to health reasons I might have to sell my beloved Z4 :(
sadly on the 22nd Dec I had the offer of a leg amputation due to an industrial accident and for the last 6 months only been driven once!

I am still in too minds to sell or not but thought if the right offer came allong it may sway my mind a little.

Ok she's Silver and unmarked.
Perfect tyres with good tread to say the least all round.
THe big give away is its a 53 plated motor with on 18,000 miles on the clock!
So she should be mint in every way.
The engine bay looks like brand new and sorry I have no pictures to put on the thread yet but will sort some out soon.
She's a 3ltr top of the range with M sport, chipped engine with quad exhaust in stainless and she sound perfect just like a little ferrari.
Goes like stink grips like stink and I love it to death.
Sadly with one leg I cant get in or out of her - not happy!

The roof is pereft totally unmarked and alway left up so it doesnt shrink.
Auto gearbox and spotless interior.
Now the fun bit....both door handles, foot wells door pockets, rear head rests and foot wells glow blue !!!! and it looks the dogs when you pull up.

The wheels again un marked in the turbine pattern.
I have fitted the alpina badges everywhere they should be wheels steering wheel bonet and boot and then to the rear the full alpina racing metal badge and same on the left hand side of the lower grill - it gives it class rather than looking tacky.

Full service etc and not ready for one for a while yet so no worries there.
Had K&N fitted and mapped up which makes a lovely difference rather than out right stupidity.
Still runs good on fuel too

No the hard bit...god knows what its worth but would like it to stay in the club, it would be a shame for it to go to a numpty who doesnt appriciate it.

Battery is also perfect and kept up with a battery trickle charger.

Alarm works central locking heated everything and it a dream to drive, a real head turner.

Whats it worth????

Hi all,

thanks for the comments.

the reason for no picws is I dont really want to sell.

it s a great car doesnt need anything except a lift for a cripple and so far I havent seen one on the market place for me anyway.

If it were a landrover I could pop rivet something on but the z4 is unmarked throughout.

its a real shame.

I can get in thats the easy part but being so low me being 6'2" and my right leg knackered makes it almost impossible to get out at the other end.

The bloddy wheelchair doesnt fit either, well it would if i took the subs out but hey they put one hell of a smile on my face when some little turd pulls allong side with there thumping machine hehehe they cant match 2300 watts of pure bass mind you neither can I or the z4 for that matter!

it sound brill, all that work again and for what.

sadly once gone one day it will get replace with a trailer for landrover shows to get me about in...its a crap life but at least its a life....

I loose my job on Friday to boot....more hassle.

be good all if anyone does show interest I may consider it but there will be a tear when it finaly goes.

Chris :(

Hi,
First day on the forum , found it really useful as I have decided to buy my first sportscar as the children have flown the nest and I have squirrelled some money away to buy a Z4 3L looks as if I can only afford a 2003 /4 model.

I have just read your email trail and can only say how sorry I am to hear about your leg. I met zinardi the racing driver last year who was badly injured in a crash , what an insiparion , not sure if he has written a book but I bet it would be a good read.

Just wondered if you could answer a couple of points about your car and to give me an indication on how much you are looking to get for it?
Can you tell me does it have passenger air bags, is it one owner from new? Has it got a file of service / bills. Is it a m3 model or just badged and if so what does that consist of.

Sorry for the questions some of which might be obvious but it will take me time to learn what z4 spec is.
Regards,
Patrick
