I'll have what the crowd are on :)

It amazes me the film quality is better than todays.

Brilliant, puts today’s festival into perspective. I doubt anyone who was there can remember being there. Love the horse riding past about half way through. :)

Excellent. Never seen that before. A good quality recording too, and I really "dig" those foam windshilds!.

Great vid!
I was born in 1970.

I actually met Noel Redding, must have been around 1992 I think.

The guys guitar is upside down.

That's what happens when you are left-handed and the guitar isn't!

Great vid Tim - thanks for posting it.

Couldn't he afford a left handed one on account of all the drugs he was doing?

In those days and when he first started playing left handed guitars were a special order and more expensive so he just used a standard right hander upside down. Think there was also something that his father didn't like him playing left handed so he played right handed when his father was around and left handed when he wasn't and carried on left handed later in years. He could play both ways, no mean feat

Think there's a misconception with the drug use, hyped up by the media at the time, drugs was pretty much the norm back then but mostly soft drugs.

For me the fact that he played an "upside-down" guitar just makes what he achieved even more impressive.

I just wish I'd had a chance to see him play live.
