50k-mile 35iS report

Bought the 2010 35iS at 20.5k miles in November 2016. Posted comments at 35K miles in November 2017. Now done 50k miles.

Driven almost every day - shopping (am house-husband) & to go shooting, but primarily for pleasure.

As in first year, little to report. Have had new Pirelli P Zeros, a puncture and two front bulbs.

So, 30k happy miles in 2 years in a very good car.

Sounds like BMW has removed the telepathic voice of the E85/6 which continually says I want this n that, irrespective of whether it’s needed

That is so good to hear. We all should do positive updates. It would help resale values. I still have less than 35000 miles on mine. Just normal maintenance.

Good to read.

One of the things I am delighted with re my Zed is the reliability. The wonderfull little thing just works every time. Now seven years and over 50k in my hands. 8)

Glad you are still enjoying your Z4 OP.

It makes a nice change from threads on the "problems" pages! :)

Yes agreed - nice too see a positive post :)

In that vein, I’ve had my car nearly 5 years, driven nearly 40,000 miles and loved almost every single one!

Forgot to mention two holidays (Norfolk & Yorkshire) with wife & Koffer24 luggage. 27.4mpg of 95RON.

Rest of the year, mostly without her, 26.6.

Your wife is very light or your foot becomes heavier when she’s not around! :P
