I've a 2004 3.0se. I need a new set of dampers all round. Can anyone give advice on what to go for. I've got pretty bad pot hole roads around my area so need to take that into consideration. Was thinking Koni adjustable dampers, not sure if the rears are easy to adjust.
Tbh I don't really know what I'm looking for so any help appreciated

Koni Yellow shocks seem to get good write ups as a straight replacement for the stock setup. I doubt coilovers would be great at this pricepoint. Your other option as simple replacements would be Bilstein B6 or B8s depending on whether you've got lowering springs (B8 are for lowered cars, B6 for standard).

Hi

Avoid at this price range. If I was you with that budget, I would replace all with OEM shocks and some Eibach Pro lowering springs

Full B12 kit can be had for under £600 delivered from Germany

Seems good value

Thanks for the replies guys.

Do I have to worry about the lowering of these kits? Mines a sport so already lowered from factory. It's currently sat on 18inch wheels, don't want difficulties going over speed bumps.

Deal looks good but concerned buying from eBay Germany...anyone have experience? Safe?

Thanks.

I've bought all of my suspension gear from Germany for my past five or six cars - always much cheaper than from UK sellers and the service is absolutely fine.

The delivery is in the hands of the courier company, so no different to buying from anywhere else (I.e. s**t) but you'll get a tracking number and you can see where the goods are at all times.

Save some money and do it.

This is an issue, most will lower 30-35mm, so I'd replace with the Bilstein B6 (for use with standard length springs/slightly lowered).
