So, you've got a five-car garage to fill, but you've got a couple conditions. By a couple, I mean a few...

Five cars.

Five different countries.
At least one from Europe.
At least one from Asia.
At least one from the Americas.

At least one classic (pre-1980).
At least one Electric car (can't resist the movement forever!).
At least one "family" car.
At least one track toy.

Clearly, some will have to tick multiple boxes.

Go!

That's like an A level question. Too much for my poor old brain this time of night. Look forward to reading the replies from those who pass the quiz.

Ok, I’ll have a go...

Tesla P100D
250 GT SWB
Lexus LFA
Porsche 991.2 GT3 RS
Aston Martin DBS Volante

:)

OK, I'll try!

Tesla Model S of some sort - couldn't care less which one, but it ticks 2 boxes!

Ferrari 275 GTB/4 for the Europe and pre-1980 box ticks.

Supra Turbo MK4 for the Asian box.

"Family car" would have to be a V8 Maserati Quattroporte Auto.

Which just leaves "ed-doe's" Z4MC as the track day car.

It was tough only being allowed one car from each country, two German cars would have been easier!

Tesla Model X (USA, family, electric)
Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 (Germany, pre-1980)
Honda Civic Type R EP3 (Japan)
Lotus Elise Cup 250 (UK, track)
Abarth 124 Spider (Italy) < this was originally a Lamborghini Huracan Spyder, but I decided I'd want a more usable convertible. Much easier if I'd been able to pick another German motor....

Did I pass? :?

Nice to see some great choices in there guys, keep them coming. I thought adding the restrictions makes it a bit more interesting, makes you think a bit wider and look across the market a bit more.

Ok time to do the quiz

The first car I ever lusted after. Nissan Cherry Turbo. A sleeper if ever there was one and fits the family.
The only US car I ever fancied, Corvett ZO6, awesome track car, hopeless on the road. :driving:
The ultimate if getting on a bit now, Zonda 8)
The one I still aspire too, you never no. Aston DB9
The best looking car ever. Aston One 77 8) 8) 8)

It seems I mist out a electric one, never mind I don't actually no what any of them are called. :D

I can relate to that - while I know what some of them are called, I wouldn't actually ever want one!

If they ever make one that sells for £1500 on the second hand market and doesn't need new batteries for the following 5 years, then I will consider it. As long as I have a real car in the garrage to drive too.

At least one track toy.

Track toy: Lotus T125
Asia: LFA
USA: Viper GTS (the next purchase :D)
Classic: (I'm not sure if it's pre 1980 I know they ended in 1983?) Alpina B9
Electric: if it has to be full electric then the Taycan

Or
Europe: F50
USA/Electric/family: Tesla S
Asia: LFA
Track: T125
Vintage Bentley T which I'd majorly modify :D

G-Wiz - India - Electric
Fiat Seicento Michael Schumacher Edition - Italy - Track car
Renault Avantime - France - family car
Ford Pinto - USA - classic

You big flirt!

Difficult that - mostly because I don't want an electric car at all.

1. Track toy/European - my Z4M Coupe to be honest - I enjoy driving it that much, and think it will become one of the more sought after n/a cars as time goes on)

2. Classic/German car - Singer 911 - with the 4.0 mezger engine from the 997.2 gt3rs 4.0, relatively pared back cabin echoing the historic 911 R ethos, momo prototipo steering wheel, buckets in brown Leather with herringbone tweed seat pads, harnesses, rollcage (not ott racecar but enough for protection), grip tape on the pedals and an obnoxious exhaust - in my opinion the perfect recipe

3. Family car/American - Ford F150 Raptor Pickup - don't judge me, I'm working in Canada at the moment and it just makes me want a big f**k off pickup

4. Also Japanese/semi-track toy - Mazda RX7 - quad rotor engine swap with a mammoth single turbo - I can hear the idle already 8) 8)

5. Electric/European - Bmw i3 or Jag I-Pace - both of them essentially fulfilling the the shopping trolley role.... *yawn*
