4x genuine ACSchnitzer type 3 racing 2 piece splits. Made by ronal. 18''. These have been refurbed and straightened to good as new condition at a cost of over 1k. I have used them for two summers only, around 4000 miles max. Nearly new yokohama run flats (max tread). Includes insets and sprigot rings.

These are rare rims that are not made anymore, and cost over 900 each when new. one slight area of superficial damage to face of one rim only as pictured. I have priced accordingly. I am fully aware of the scarcity and value of these so no time wasters please.

Might help to include some info on wheel width & offset, tyre sizes, etc.

...and can I clarify something? Have you really put run-flat tyres on wheels not made designed for run-flats (I assume these wheels have no secondary retaining bead/hump to stop the tyre coming off the wheel)?
 
I have the non-split versions on my E86 and they look great!

Probably worth mentioning the width and offset. GLWTS!
 
I believe it's EH2 (and the less common EH2+) for runflats (H2 is for normal road tyres, and is just a small hump, the EH2 is bigger/wider), but with so little information provided on the wheel, I thought it best to clarify :P

As it's all about authenticity with this type of wheel, and at this price you really have to be sure.

There should be markings on the wheel should look something like this (although these markings are on Type 2, so won't be stamped in the same position):

Their should also be a stamp to say Ronal or OZ Racing (the 2 main producers of the wheels):

We're also not told when the £1000 refurb was done...obviously before that 'slight area of superficial damage' which actually seems to be a decent-sized gouge as far as I can tell from the pictures.

Not that ACS stuff is of particularly good quality though (more form over function, like their £500 chrome-covered plastic wing vents). Although the Type 3 looks much better than the Type 4.

Finally got the eBay link. That’s a fairly big chunk out of a wheel, not what’s I would consider as superficial damage. A couple of scratches that would rub / sand out, but that’s a weld to fill and then re-shape job.

Also to add my Type 3 (admittedly non-split rims) with some chips to the paint, but no kerbing or scratches, good Sessantas and two pairs for brand new ACS centre caps were a fair bit below your asking price.

Not saying you won’t get what you want but £2k is fairly hefty for a set of 18’s with a chunk out of one rim.
 
Glwts they look a nice wheel for those with a penchant for ACS, it only takes one person to be looking for a set....but you might want to get that damage sorted to realise the best money IMO
 
The price is not the problem, and I've seen sets of these, BBS LMs, Racing Dynamics RD2s, and other wheels from that generation go for big money.

Just thought some clarification would help a potential buyer.

For example, the last time I saw a set of OE e34 M5 Turbine wheels (consists of wheel, mounting frame, turbine cover, sprung plastic centre, and 5 titanium bolts to hold the frame/cover to the wheel) they were asking over £1k for scabby ones - but the 'fins' are impossible to buy now and the plastic covers alone were £150 each 10 years ago (a current sale of a set in excellent condition is asking £2500).

I had them on my 3.6 M5 for road use, but took the covers off for track use - because they needed to be stripped to clean off the brake dust.

So the ET is 43, 18x8.5j all round square set up, they are pristine apart from the damage, there are sets on ebay without tires for similar prices. I'm 'testing the water' as such , so i may reduce slightly or sell without tires, but i wont be giving them away. I've seen bad condition ones go for over 1k.

My number is there for serious interest and i am happy to whats app the ronal stamps etc. Wondered if there was a z3 forum as i know they use ACS wheels more often.

Yeah your man with his 2k square wheels is having a tin bath but this is pretty cool info.
 
I would love these on my E31 but can't even think about it at this price.

There's a huge difference between asking and real sold prices - don't believe the ads that are up. Plenty of chancers around. Look at the price of throwing stars!
