4D Silver Carbon wrap interior

Bought some 4D carbon wrap to cover various bits of aluminium, at £6.53 (ebay link at bottom of topic) I got more than I thought I would and as expected got a little carried away. I had only intended of wrapping the door grabs as they were badly scratched however I was so impressed with the wrap I did a few more bits. Really pleased with the outcome, lightens the interiors and does not look tacky or false (IMHO), very cheap mod. Easy to use as long as you strategically place the hairdryer blowing constant hot air.

Yeah I like the Silver carbon fiber more than the black, it on my list once I get some nagging issues sorted out. :thumbsup:
 
Looks great but my OCD wouldn't let me have the weave going different ways on the door pulls ;)

just a warning if you decide to take it off in the future be careful when removing wrap from the gear stick surround i had a go at wrap and changed my mind,took it off the gear stick surround and it took the paint off with it cost me £100 to replace it :headbang:
 
I wonder whether any interior carbon fibre wrappers on this forum have managed to not do the door pulls differently?

I noticed half way through and ripped it off and redone it, but it seems 90% of members have made the exact same mistake and just left it.
 
Just tried Googling the difference between 2, 3, and 4D carbon fibre to no avail. Anyone care to enlighten me please. :popcorn:
 
If you look under bottom of handle you will see a small gap, insert a small flat screwdriver in there, as you pull out slide the handle down (obviously the front of the handle)
 
Looks really good :thumbsup: I tried doing my steering wheel but I must say am a bit heavy handed and it's very tricky. (For me anyway)
