488 spider

I think the 488 is an ugly car. The spider doesn't help IMO.

The newer ferraris seems to be loosing that ferrari aesthetic magic. Looks more functional than exotic.

Got to be honest, I'm not a fan of the current mid-engined hypercar genre. The F12 is much prettier looking car.

agree with stuart! not a fan of the 458 personally, i prefer the 488 but still wouldnt buy one.

F12 is lovely, mind you.The last non-crazy fezza i liked was the 430 actually, i'd consider owning one, if not that, i'd be in a 348 or f355.

355s are jumping in price now! Could have picked a good one up for £40k a few years ago now they are sitting at £70k!

My uncle has one and was telling me he's quite chuffed!

For anyone that wondered why we'd start a 'How this car looks' thread without a picture... here's one..

I did think I was missing something here, thanks for the picture

the new generation ferraris do look nice and are evolving over time

damn 70k for a 355, i remember looking at these a few years back and they were around 30k :o

I like the 458 - a pretty car when launched, even with the silly triple pipes. 488 is technically impressive, but looks-wise it feels a bit like F430 vs F360 all over again. The shape is too familiar now to feel special. 458s are actually quite common in some cities - not 911 common, but I agree with Tom that they don't seem as exotic as they used to, whereas part of the attraction of the 911 has always been that it is understated (purple GT3 RS aside).

There's going to be an F12 Speciale (or similar) soon. That is going to be bonkers.

How can you not think that absolutely stunning? :?

It is stunning but dare i say its design seems a bit "lamboesque " :o a good thing for me as i have no desire for a Ferrari whereas i would happily accommodate any of the Lambo range .
That said i would make a exception for a white California

I see what you mean Mr W. I'm still a school boy at heart so I like my supercars to be as ridiculous as possible. As such Lamborghinis (except perhaps the Gallardo) carry more appeal than the more sane Ferraris although I'd happily settle for something from Pagani or Koenigsegg instead!

Lambo's look like 6 yard skips. This 488 and the F12 are the best looking Fez since the 355. The nose spoils the new Cali T to my eyes.

Good thing we all have different views though.

Indeed John , i do worry what youve been using for skips though
It takes something to make a Ferrari look dull but this does it for me
