As per title, had a pretty awful 48hours, as have been really ill.
This has been ongoing on and off since October last year, and despite testing Negative for Covid every time....
I tested Positive this morning :headbang:
After finally getting a Doctors appointment to deal with my ongoing sickness, etc etc which then was caon me recora positive covid test

Ended up in Hospital today,as my breathing was very poor, and they wanted to run full checks on me for things.
Back home to recover with lots of medicines.

Not only am I positive for Covid,I have a Chest Infection, Kidney infection and Urine Infection, and a Fever.

Thank god I have had 2 jabs,or God knows where I would be,given I have Asthma.

The only reason i haven't had my Booster since I got the text in November, is my ongoing sickness, etc

Can barely stand, without wanting to pass out,so hope the meds work

Take care folks

i was triple jabbed & caught covid in the new year, just over a month on and I’m still wheezy & heavy breathing if i take a brisk walk.
I’m 56 and pretty fit for my age, it’s definitely been worse than a bit of a sniffle that I’ve heard banded around.
Get well soon Craig.
Rob

Sorry to hear this Craig,
Here’s best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Don’t push yourself - just take the meds and relax.

Hope you get well soon. When I had covid I took this tea https://www.traditionalmedicinals.com/products/throat-coat-tea/
which drastically reduced coughing.

Thanks, Rob.
It's true, alot of what you here is the large percentage of those getting seriously ill or dying from it now were unvaccinated, and for most of those vaccinated,it's just like a bad cold.
Far from it,as it's completely floored me,and probably made worse by my Asthma and recent general health not being great.
I have 2 of 3 jabs, but would hate to think how much worse it would be if I didn't have any.

Sorry to here this Craig, it’s strange how it effects people differently, hope your feeling better soon, take thing easy and take care of yourself.

Thanks Michael.
Yes,my general health hasn't been great for months, keep on being violently sick etc etc,and that, combined with my Asthma being worse these past 3/4 years than it has since I was in School as a child, those things probably have made it worse for me than others.

Thanks again

Hope you get better soon Craig - horrid disease but at least the jabs have offered some protection even if you still feel pretty ill.

Get well soon

Nasty set of infections there Craig...chill and keep hydrated....NOT with single malt though...!!

Hope you improve over the next few days.

All the best Craig and I hope it clears up soon . I used to get Bronchitis as a child and I am sure it leaves you more prone to being breathless when stuff like this happens much like yourself with your Asthma .

It also affects people differently if they catch it more than once. My wife is a nurse and she had an antibody test a year ago which showed that she had already had the disease even though she hadn't been aware of it. She also caught it a month ago and was quite bad with it this time for quite a few days

Thanks for that, worth a try, when I get my sickness under control,as been violently ick/wretching for few days now.
Cheers
