I've got an original BMW 'din' fascia plate but wont be back in UK until 20 December. Was going to do a change but am happy with what I have so now surplus to requirements. Still in original box.
 
Fairly certain it's silver. If you can wait till I'm back in the UK I will check the box and send a phot. so you can decide.

I have one of those as linked above, brand new in box unused. Bought it with the intention of fitting my Sony Bluetooth head unit but decided i wanted to keep all OEM look.

£7 posted to anyone who wants it?

I have just fitted a CT24BM06 to my 04 3.0...don't like the fit at all ... sticks up at corners and was hard to even get it to fit somewhere near right ...looking for an alternative. Bought mine from Dynamic Sounds .... apparently never had any complaints but if you google it there are loads :headbang:

I seen several photos of those fitted that looked ok, a photo of your instal would be good. I have fitted one myself a couple of years ago, which looks great. The only slight issue was that it needed a very slight trimming on the lower half of the outside edges to stop the bottom edge bowing upwards ever so slightly. But it was hardly noticeable. I did need to give it just a little more of a trim in a couple of spots when I changed the dash from the standard aluminium to individual leather; what dash trim do you have?
 
Hi Thanks for the reply, I have the silver dash. I have had another look at it and found that the oval socket on rear of facia plate did not fully line up with the location studs on car ... I have trimmed them a bit and now it is acceptable :thumbsup:
