After changing the sensor I'm now down to 3 yellow lights from 4. I've now got traction control, handbrake, and low tyre pressure. Scanning says wheel rotation circuit. Any thoughts anyone.
I had those 3 light up a while ago after my battery died.
Took it to Ross at RBM on Tuesday and it was showing a DSC Control Unit fault. I'm pretty sure Ross tweaked the DSC sensor setting (above my level of technologoical competence) and all lights went out. Still out today too.
If it was the Control Unit he said they are about £2K from BMW, but you can send them away for a rebuild for a few hundred (I think the same applies to ABS pumps).
Had the same thing and it turned out to be my ABS motor/pump. I sent if off to ECU Testing in Derby for a rebuild. Overall, it was a pretty easy job with basic hand tools. ECU had it back to me in a week, and I live in the US!
Just encountered the same issue (all four lights) after driving through a massive puddle this afternoon.
Hoping that a wheel/ABS sensor has just got itself wet and will be OK when the car dries out...though that does beg the question of whether it needs looking at to stop it happening again!
