4 tail pipes

Hi everyone, newbie here
I have purchased an Alpina Roadster S & I love it but would love to have 4 tail pipes like the Z4M .

Has anyone got any experience of this ? I am not really interested in increasing the performance any further just would love the cosmetics of it & a little extra sound would not be a negative I suppose although I don't want to sound like a 17yr old in a corsa!

Any tips folks ?

Hi ya,

Loads of threads on here about quad conversions, they are a fairly common mod, hit the search button above ^^^^^^^^

Not sure anyone has done this mod on an Alpina, however just a suggestion if you are going to change the exhaust why not go for the 35i route and have two large single exhausts either side. I think it actually looks better than the quad exhaust, especially since Audi have started slapping 4 exhausts on the S range....

I've converted my Zed to a quad but I would not do it to an Alpina. IMHO it will ruin what is a collectors car and likely reduce value. Doubt it will do much to performance if anything, but if you desire trying stick to a reversible twin pipe system and keep the old bits.

Check out modgarange.net - FemmeT did it to his Alpina (along with a whole bunch of other cool mods)

Seems a shame though, the Alpina has a custom exhaust already with a great "voice"
I know what the OP means though as I have four tail pipe envy now I only have two...I loved the quad set up on my Z4M & M3 & now I feel like I am driving a 2.0TDi with just two!!

I do agree with this too an Alpina is a sort after vehicle & if I had one I think I would leave well alone to be honest.
