3rd Party Headlight Assembly

Both of my front headlights need to be replaced. Has anyone used any 3rd party replacements that are cheaper than the $1,000 I would have to spend on OEM? I found the ones below on eBay. Does anyone have a review of these or any others? My wife is pregnant and I'm going to have sell her soon and I definitely need to get these replaced before I try to sell.

Thank so much for any help/opinions.

Those lights look similar to the ones fitted to my car. Look good but the beam pattern isn't as good as OEM and there's quite a bit of 'adapting' to do to the wiring loom.

Just get them refurbed ?

You're assuming he hasn't had a small front end bump or dipped it in a flood, rotted with condensation, etc.

Do agree though that if they are just scratched or cloudy refurb as OEM are the best

I've tried the wet sanding technique and it barely helped. The damage is definitely due to moisture that has penetrated the seals. One of them actually failed recently as I still have a lot of moisture in the assembly. :\

If it's halogen you can get them from Sonar I think. Cheap enough and okay.
Second hand of bmw ones would be better... but can take time to find. Depends on how soon you need to sell the wife!
