3rd Car & here we go again with the O2 sensors!

Thanks for that information. I just don't want to change the sensors to find it's something else. I have had these go before but it's very odd that this time the fault code kicks in about 2 minutes after starting. And most of the time it's on the way home from work, so at home (when the car is kept in a nice cosy garage) I drive 11 miles to work and park in the open air all day, it's the run back home that normally sets it off. Also, I swear that during the first 2 minutes I can feel a very slight hint that the throttle not quite as smooth as normal before the code fault happens. Odd.

I had it last year very annoyingly during a trip to the Italian Alps. I had to find mechanic in the mountains with a computer to read the code. It kinda ruined the fun in the middle of the trip since you don't feel like pushing it with the engine light on even if you know that the reason is the O2 sensor!

I know what you mean, I had a Ferrari 360 Spider on the 2007 FB5K run to Norway with the same problem, but the warning light on the dash said "Slow Down" I got round it by putting a bit of tape over the light so I couldn't see it.
