3M Paint Defender spray on film

Has anyone heard of or tried this product before for preventing stone chipping? looks interesting although it doesn't look to be a permanent solution unlike traditional clear bra but cheaper.

Definitely interesting, I would use this on the Z side skirts as they get abused with gravel rash unless you have mud flaps.
 
I've seen it before recently. Very new product, and as above don't think it available in the UK as yet.
 
so a clear version of that plasti dip stuff then. nifty. it would be interesting to see how it stands up to a stone hitting it at speed.

nice idea for the bumper mind.
 
I was thinking bumper and skirts, I think doing the bonnet might be trickier as its a horizontal surface, from reading reviews it can drip when spraying so vertical surfaces might be easier to do, would also need to do plenty of masking and preferably spraying under cover.

You can buy it off Amazon.com unsure about shipping being an aerosol?

I def need this!!

I've had my bumper sprayed twice in 2 years, last time in Jan, and claying it today i've noticed new stone chips :headbang:
