3m extra fine plus

hi , the carbon black mc has been looking a bit swirly in the sun, yesterday was nice and a bit sunny in cornwall so after a wash and dry i started a hand rubbed correction with 3m extra fine plus (yellow). while this wont do much for deeper scratches it handles minor swirls and scratches superbly, following up with megs gold class yellow paste and double microfibre buff. very pleased with results, not finished yet will try som pics later if rain holds off. satisfying to do by hand as machine polishing just soooo messy and would need a whole weekend to tape and mask up, will do that when more time .

Thanks for the tip, I've been using Ferecla G3 system applied with hand waffle pads, I'm with you with regard to machine polishing, plus I'm a bit scared too

have tried g3 followed by 3m finnesse, they are water based, the extra fine plus is'nt, so has a different feel to it and a bit easier to get off.
