So do I. I think the reason are those reflectors! Badly positioned!
The car looks good in white! Those wheels are growing on me.
Interior looses a little impact in darker colours IMO.

I think it's the separate sections of the bumper that make it look so bad; The line above the exhaust

Though, personally, I love those wheels :)

Wait and see how Kryton will respond to the comments.

The back of my 23i M Sport will be like this (I selected model designation deletion, so no "Z4" on the bootlid).

Whites not my colour and in a few years will be so passe (again)

Shame they slipped up and photographed the open wheel with 3 large balance weights on show :)

The rear bumper seems to lend itself to having the lower section blacked in or on a subsequent release build a diffuser there ?? Perhaops all the lights are to disguise the height of the rear from exhaust to centre brake light that is high to accomodate the roof?

Nice car though

I had to pull up a pic of the back of my car to see the difference, the iS has a strange lower bumper that I really don't like.
Elsewhere, not much difference at all really. If I didn't have a 35i already I'd buy an iS. (but they are over $80k before taxes here now)

Afraid I do not like the colour, it would be ok across the pond where the weather is better but I think white on a dull day (and we get plenty) stick's out like a sore thumb and look's out of place.

My DP friend says always buy a car in the launch colour because BM spend huge amounts of money finding out what colour the greatest number of people like, and never buy a BM in white because that is "instant death" when it comes to trade in.

Love those 326's though, the rear has grown on me now as has the silver mirrors which I really do like now

I did consider Alpine White before choosing Space Grey in the end (save £520 on metallic paint). I think white E89 will be okay because there will be people looking for them. But as Kryton said, white on most BMW will be "instant death", except M cars.

Now now fellas, my white car hasn't been washed in two weeks and still looks clean. Not like my previous black cars. :P :P

It does have some bugs on it and surface dirt that you can't see unless you look for it.....

As for white being Death on trade in, we'll see in 5 or 10years.
There are painfully few Zeds around here so I doubt if it will be a problem..

    :driving: :driving: :driving:

Hello old chap :) I was making comment about the UK market , I'm sure across the pond white is probably the colour to have

On the White theme, notice on BMW used White older Z4s and new M3s and 3 Series tend to go for more money! ;)

That's because they are in vogue now and hence command a premium, this may last a few more years, perhaps not and then their price will drop like shares in Sachs

Nope, black is still the hot commodity here. Your blue is probably second.

I did see a new M3 in white and up close it was awesome....
