35iS tyres and suspension bushes

I’m looking for advice please for new tyres and replacement suspension bushes for my 2013 35iS with 52000 miles.

Tyres - I want to change current run flats for good quality ‘proper’ tyres. Recommendations please.

Suspension bushes - I have some play in the rear trailing arms so I want to get them re-bushed. Any recommendations on what to fit, and should I just change all the bushes, front and rear?

Many thanks in advance.

PS4S has been great for my driving needs, style and skills.

It seems those who have served their trailing arms have gone with M parts.

The new Conti Sports Contact 7 are IMHO the new top dog for the E89…

Having had many tyres including GY Assy 5, Michelin MP4S I’d say the SC7 are the best plus if it matters typically cheaper than MP4S….

Steering and feedback are better than MP4S…wear rate seems on par..noise seems lower..

As far as RTAB some folks have gone poly, I went with a premium uprated set of bushes from Hardrace..

It would take a lot of money and time to replace all the bushes..

IMHO priority is the RTAB and the upper and lower link bushes..

On the front fresh / uprated front tie rods and E90 M3 front steering linkages..

If you look at my build thread amongst many off topic rambles you will see all those points covered..

Thanks.
I was looking at the SC7s but wasn’t sure how they would compare against the Michelin PS4s or even the Goodyear Eagle F1s.
Thanks for the heads-up on the Hardrace bushes, I’ll have a look.
Cheers.

People rave about MP4S but I found them disappointing…

Each chassis design has characteristics that play to certain strengths in different tyres…

The SC7 has form helping rear wheel drive powerful cars..

A few people here have now tried SC7s and rate them over either MP4SS or MP4s..

The GY Assy 6 also looks to be another great tyre ..I’ve not tried them..but the GY Assy 5 was a good tyre on the E89..

I've only had RFT and PS4S on the e89. Whilst very happy with PS4S, I shall give the SC7 a try at the next all around new set. My RR is less than a year old. The other three a little over 2 years. I reckon the LR will go first, then followed by the fronts and the RR hopefully together. So it might be 2 years. No need to be wasteful, right?

I’ve just changed my 326s out and ditched the RFTs 2 weeks ago. Went with SC7s. Good so far  :driving:

Thanks for the advice everyone.
Booked in to have SC7s fitted all round at just over £700 including tracking.
That leaves the RTA bushes to sort in a few weeks time.

If the current tyres are still good, personally I’d fix the trailing arms first. That can lead to massive safety issues. And may cause premature wear on the new tyres. But that’s just me.
