35is steering wheel

It's fatter, some like that. It's all black tho which I don't like.

It's subjective tho so an odd question really.

Well I had my standard 35i wheel re leathered, in matt black new leather, padded out a little more and then kept all the brushed steel bits....

BBC417, you can buy the silver parts and fit them yourself.

Thanks :) Its a lease though which might be a problem returning it in the same conditon. whatever it is, I guess it doesnt matter considering im really happy with the 35is Im really excited to drive it, the one i test drove was a 28i.

So the question should have been ''is the M steering wheel better'!!
I've got the thicker all black wheel and I haven't got a 3.5is

Main thing to have is steering wheel heating. Thought it was a waste of time but it works a treat in the cold weather :) Shame they had to hide the switch and have no warning light on the dash :headbang:

Non M Sport, but just thicker and with orig controls etc

After 3+ years mines going a bit shiny now... the wheel that is... so I might get mine padded a bit and re-leathered. Still prefer the non M wheel tho, the silver bits match my interior better.

Hi stork,
Where did you get the wheel recovered.

I liked the msport in my old zcoupe, and the standard one in my 35i now feels too thin and not do nice - love the chrome look though

Thanks

Royal Steering Wheels in Oxford, think he has our wheel in stock, and he will change it over while you wait.....just google it

How much are the silver inserts? I might get some as I think they make the steering wheel look better than all black.

The M Sport one he has is the one I gave him in exchange for my replacement one. I had the M Sport one for a while and the reverted back to my standard one, albeit thicker and re trimmed
