Hi Guys

I'm Considering selling my 2010 35Is. Now I have a family of 3 its no longer practical as we cant all go out in her together so considering a E92 M3 convertible as a replacement.

I've only had her for 6 months and in that time she's had a full £800 service so wants for nothing.

Spec includes the upgraded hifi speakers and the usual 35Is spec.. DCT and 35k on the clock so very good order throughout. 3m guard on the bonnet and wings, sills etc.. No sat nav or Idrive though..

Any idea on what the market values are like for the 35Is models at present?

Cheers.

Lol similar to mine, 2010 35is 35k on the clock and no Idrive.

35is prices seem pretty firm from what I have seen. I would say £20k to £22k

There's a 2010 model for sale at Sytner, Nottingham, for £18,500 - any purchaser will get a 12 month BMW used warranty. That one has done 60k miles though.

+ its fully specced , a 35Is having no nav / idrive is not gonna be the top of anyone's list of demands no matter the condition
miles are good at 35k / 2010 ? Private sale ? £17500 / £18k ?

Saw this on their website ... so tempting!

Although bit of a trip to see it since I'm in London.. worth a weekend outing though !

If its any help I paid just under 20k privately for a 2013 model with Nav etc and 52k miles - it wasnt in great cosmetic condition which would have put people off and he had dropped the price but it had all the right servicing etc and after a wash and scrub up looks great now. The nearest I could find from a dealer had less miles but was more like 23k to 25k.

Keep the car and get rid of the plus one. You know it makes sense :driving:

Thanks Guys

so around £17500 for a private sale would be fair then? I might keep her until the spring and then decide.

Cheers

You can get cheap train tickets to Nottingham from St Pancras on East Midlands for £35 each way in first class. Sytner is a short taxi from the station. I looked at a 35is there before I found mine.

That's not bad at all, plus can make it a weekend trip for the family (of course the agenda is a country walk with my wife and daughter ha ha)

There is a strong following for cars without Nav and pointless uber-priced gadgets, when I deflated the salesman with a comment about "that stuff leaving me cold" when spec'cing my last new car the salesman said he was surprised how many people were actively put off by unnecessary stuff like touch-screens and idrive equivalents. I have an iphone with maps, generally know where I'm going anyway and can't be arsed with gadgety screens. I guess I'm a Flimper fan :D

Well there is a vast pool of cars out there for you  i am very casual about spec when looking for myself but always wary that down the line when the car has to go certain cars sell better with certain option boxes ticked , i agree nav is not always a killer blow but leather seats & heated if a roadster are pretty much a pre requisite imo
