35is @ Nobles?

The MD at Nobles has moved into a house a stones throw from us and stopped for a chat last night as I was quick detailing the Zed, he's guaranteed me a deal on service price and use genuine BMW parts etc come service time. It's tempting to go for it and have Nobles stamp on the service book but the flip side is would that put off potential buyers if I came to sell at some point with them being a performance outfit, and would I be better coughing up a bit more and having BMW service stamp, I've no plans to sell at the moment, but who knows in a year or two.

Any opinions would be welcome cheers.

I am sure they would do a 100% great job - but most people will want to see BMW stamps in the book. I would ... and if trading a BMW dealer would.

i would give it a very wide berth having used nobles once about 10 years ago. they chipped and tuned my mr2 turbo at the time and managed to blow the engine by ragging it out on their rolling road. i sat in the reception area most of the day and heard the conversations their reception person had with people ringing in. every answer seemed to be "bring it in, we will put it on the rolling road and should be able to diagnose the problem for you"...... since when does putting a car on a rolling road give you that advantage. any mechanic worth their salt can diagnose a fault by taking a look at an engine and listening out for noises. wouldnt go near them with a barge pole now

Ok cheers chaps, I agree with SO8 so dealer it is. Not keen on rollers unless really needed, hate hearing engines being thrashed.
