35is MPG figures?

SO perhaps unsurprisingly Honest John Real world mpg
listings has no entries for the 35is (it does for the 35i - gives a bmw figure of 30-31mpg and a real world figure of 28.5mpg)
just wondering what you guys were getting,

Urban approx : ?
County lanes when ragging it : ?
Motorway : ?

I'd say my 35i manual isn't far off HJ's numbers.

Unfair to comment on Urban as it's not an everyday driver.

Not hard to get 33mpg motorway sticking "around" the limits, 100 mile mixed "thrash and cruise" looks like 30.5

I'd say continually maxing out on the turbo's and you'd be down around the mid 20's, grinning like an idiot.

I've now had the car over 2 years and the economy still amazes me.

I have an avg of 17mpg in my 35is. Mostly shorter journeys, never really driven on the motorway often or long journeys

If i do some very gentle driving on the motorway low 30s

i could just nudge 40mpg on a quiet run,23 on the daily grind..

Haven't really had mine long enough yet, only done just over 400 miles in it Fuelly app is showing 23.1 average so far but it's mostly been hooning around, no long runs on motorway since using the app.
