35is low oil level warning light at 4500 miles

this happened on my previous e89 at about 5k but I never had to put any more in , must admit never thought about doing it through service plan just assumed it wouldnt be covered

Reassuring that another 35is owner had to top up at around 5k :)

A little gutted that I could have gone to the stealers for more oil but happy the warning light has vanished. The great and probable placebo effect of all of this is that I have been flooring the accelerator a little more frequently and the air pressure change in the cabin with roof down is evident in my eardrums! :D :D :D
 
Mine required frequent top ups until it's first service at ~20k miles. Haven't had to put a drop in for the last 10k miles - still registering at max level. Seems to just use a bit whilst 'bedding in'.
