Reassuring that another 35is owner had to top up at around 5k
A little gutted that I could have gone to the stealers for more oil but happy the warning light has vanished. The great and probable placebo effect of all of this is that I have been flooring the accelerator a little more frequently and the air pressure change in the cabin with roof down is evident in my eardrums!
Mine required frequent top ups until it's first service at ~20k miles. Haven't had to put a drop in for the last 10k miles - still registering at max level. Seems to just use a bit whilst 'bedding in'.
