So I've just caught up on this thread... Loved your coupe Kermit but can't help but like your choice for the new arrival. You have good taste sir!

You must have one of the only ones from the USA then as all European model E89s are built in Germany.

I do love how people chase up the dealers when getting a new car, it's one thing I never did when I knew I was waiting 6 months for a car. Didn't see the point in chasing it up as they will tell you when it arrives and it's good to go.

Mates girlfriend kept chasing up her new 3 series almost daily and wasn't best pleased when her 3 missed the boat but her other halfs (exactly the same) didn't and arrived the week before although she has been told it was coming until it never turned up lol

I do hope it turns up soon. Nothing worse than being car less for any amount of time!

E89 built in Germany. The previous model was US built. My dealer assured me the E89 was also US built. Don't you just love the way dealers are so up to date!!!

Dealer won't know for sure until day before delivery to dealer when they get the list of vehicles on the transporter. He'll know its in the country etc, but at that point won't know when it will be at dealership.

I'm not a red car fan at all but I have to say that the Audi TT and the Z4 rewrite that rule completely!!! :D
