John, such a shame you have to let her go. She's a superb example of this range topping model and I think the price is a bargain at that mileage.

Good luck mate. Hope it all sorts out well for you in all respects.

Cheers JC :D

Thanks very much JC, all will be well next year.

Make sure you put pics and thoughts up of the Cayman, not long now mate. :D

I'd be all over this if it wasn't for the fact I've just bought an old E85. Giving myself a year with it until the next move up.
Lovely looking motor and nicely specced.
Good luck with everything...

It would'nt suit the ring Chris, well not if you wanted a crisp well balanced lap, you'd have to wrestle it round, plenty of shove mind.

Cheers for the post. :D

Hahah don't worry about that John - would have no intention of 'ringing it.
Those days are over....for now.

Very sorry to hear that such a stunning looking motor has to be sold because of your misfortune. It's way outside my price range unfortunately but if no-one on the Forum buys it I would have thought a lot of BMW dealers would be very interested, maybe even the one you bought it from?

Yes I put it up as a 'you never know' thing really, I would be very very surprised if it sold privately, it'll end up at the dealers, a shame really, car speaks for itself, no need to pay approx £34k which is what I think it'll be up at or thereabouts.

Thanks for the well wishes though, there's a lot of very nice folk on this forum.

Somebody is going to get a cracking looking car. Hope it goes to someone on here.

Good luck, I'm sure you will miss her.

Sorry to read this post John - not so much because you are selling, but the reason you are having to sell.

I wish you well with the sale, but even better with your health - you can't buy a replacement for that.

All the best

It's a bit crazy Mr Tidy, 3 problems totally unrelated have arisen all at once, Sod's law at work, and one needs to be dealt with before we can move onto the next for reasons I won't bore you with, so the 3 combined have a fair impact on day to day. I've got fingers crossed that by this time next year they'll all have been fixed and we can get back to normal. On the plus side sitting in the garden in this weather all afternoon is rather pleasant, I just wish bits did'nt hurt so much doing it....!!

Thanks for the well wishes, I do appreciate it. :)

Manual against your 35is :headbang: I know I may get a lot of lets say negative comments but if the price range is right for him must be mad to hold out for a manual against what your offering :poke:

No problem.

I was signed off work (and driving!) for a month in 2006 due to a medical blip - it certainly changed my perspective on life!

Hope everything is back to normal this time next year.
