Good luck fella...

Very cheap car

Many thanks .. I will just let the advert run its course, if no sale will just keep stored for a while

But looking as Whixley surrounding areas, looks like I will need a AWD with big ground clearance .. as a local field to us is now fully flooded, its just like being at south end on sea with waves

I live in the top of Derbyshire, and the village gets cut off when the snow comes....... But AWD i have never had, just put snows on our dog bus and she trundles around without much mither....

John,do you have this on PCP,fnance or did you just buy it outright ?

....... will just have to store round my parents ...

Store it and use it on some nice roads up north next summer!

Hello Ronk .. this may well happen if is does not sell this time round ..

When My wife purchased the car I kept the registration document in my name to keep the previous owners as zero, but she is really busy doing her thing & Career so had no time to use it either.

Plus the amplifier making takes up so much of my time and needed the space for components and amplifier chassis etc .. but do appreciate it is a lot of money for someone, but it does have 2 years full BMW warranty remaining, and most of the desirable options.

Beautiful car Nick, it's a shame you are selling it. I doubt it will be for sale long as it ticks many boxes

Has it still got finance Nick or has that been paid off?

Hello DPG .. yes it still has finance it is with BMW, I have a updated settlement figure

it is really easy to pay off on the day for a perspective purchaser .. as you can pay online or over the phone, as you get to speak to a human.

I was thinking of paying all the finance off, but then take the risk of not selling the car and if this was the case would rather keep the payments

regards

List price £53000

but I did not pay that as it was discounted new from the dealer :D

well 27k for a list price of 53k is very much a bargain, if i didnt already have 2 z4's i'd be all over this

I was wondering if you might be thinking about chopping both in :poke:

i could be easily tempted to get rid of the M, but the coupe - never :)

If it was £25k I'd bite your arm off :(

What's the done thing in this scenario then, if you don't mind my asking? Does the buyer pay you then you settle with BMW? Or do you inform BMW that the car has changed hands and the buyer settles with them directly?

It's a wonder JB has two arms still attached now!
I'm still trying to do the man maths now - I'd have to get rid of my 2010 3.0l first and its not a good time. :(

The man maths tells me it's doable, but sadly Miss dk345 says £25k is already too much

You have a lifetime to pay for it!!!

I also have to consider that I've just shelled out for a new 335 xd for my wife! I reasoned why "she" needed that sort of car but I'm out of reasons why i need to get rid of my 3.0l and spend another £15k ish on a car that we only use in the summer.

No, get that man maths calculator a new set of batteries - cars like this one don't often come along very often - come to think of it, I've never seen one before!

Basically what happens is .. just say you where going to buy it as a example:

You would come to my house see the car etc fill out all the normal paper work log book slips etc, you then online transfer the money to my account, you can use chaps payment which is quick or if transfering to another account but within he same bank is quick as well ... or cash.

Togther we then phone bmw finance or online and pay them directly via the sellers debit card, as I would have cleared funds from the buyer. Then you drive away with no finance on the car and a print out of the finance settlement.

Or there is a new way now where banks are offering PCP car loans where they pay the seller directly ..

ALso when you meet the seller ask for passport proof of identifcation etc plus you would have the address etc .. you will not have a problem with a honest seller & buyer .. plus you know where the person lives etc. But you can just pay BMW finance on the day via phone, only then would you drive away with the car, this way both the seller and buyer are protected.

regards

Finally letting it go mate ? - beautiful car and looks to be a bargain for someone - knowing your love of early E85's I reckon it won't be long till your back in the fold with one !

GLWTS
