Who cares what the interior is like. I'm more interested in a 4-litre V8 of NA loveliness with an 8,400rpm redline.
Then get embarrassed by a little yellow 2 seater sports car with no M badge, oh dear :fuelfire:

Doesn't matter to me. I don't like turbo engines. Plus yours in particular is remapped so not a true comparison of each model.

A GTR Nissan will "embarrass" a 997 GT3 but I know which one I'd rather own and it ain't the Nissan (great car that it is). A remapped TTRS would "embarrass" an R8 but given a choice between the two not many would be asking for the TT's keys.

I was playing devils advocate though - the M3 for a grand more with the same mileage represents better value for money IMO than that 35iS. But, the E93M is too heavy and I personally would always choose a coupe over cabriolet M3 but if you like roof off motoring it would be a difficult choice for a lot of people given the small difference in price. The 35iS is a nice car but I would've thought 25-27k for a low mileage example is nearer the mark. There's no way even with that mileage, that the car has retained 70% of its value after 3 years.

Totally agree.

How would a standard 35i be against a standard 4.0 M3 Coupe? Or, a remapped 35i against a super charged 4.0 M3?

We'll have to agree to disagree, but mine is the 35is anyway with DCT and not a 35i. Got my arse kicked today by an M3 GT Cup car at Oulton Park. Now that was a quick M3 but is nowhere compared to the Z4 GT V8.

Other than the colour (white) remote control and the milage being slightly higher (10.5k) that exactly the same spec as my previous car and the dealer was asking exactly the same price , its now gone from website so I assume its sold , which isnt bad as it just over 3 weeks ,I thought it would sit around for longer than that
