35is first run top down

Hi, had a very quick run out this morning with the top down for the first time and... :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o
can't believe how good it sounds, deep burble and lots of pops and bangs on throttle lift, the ride is superb as I like firm suspension, LOVING this car!!!!!!!!!! hope everyone is the same with theirs. :D

Have a great weekend all!!

Have you had it in Sport+ yet ?

 Running it in Jasey, but i'll give it a go later, never crossed my mind tbh..!!

You will not believe the difference it makes - you don't even have to gun it (although that does help).

If you think it's great now just wait till it's run in

ps be very careful in Sport+ if the roads are wet and you are in corners !!!!!!

As you know John, I love mines to bits and I especially love the roof down. I only by convertibles and make the most of them. If for any reason I can't get the roof down, like last night after a Costco shop, I still have the window down just to hear the noise it makes.

Once its run in, you will watch heads turn!

You can trigger the 'overrun burble' at will - quite good fun when cruising :)

Just set car to be in Sport, push gearstick to the left for added noise.

You can run along at 25mph, to trigger the burble just come off the throttle completely.

Repeat at will.

In this engine / gearbox mode, you can maintain a steady speed of 25 / 28 mph & get all the noise .... I know.... I'm a child!

Matt

It is amazing! Went for a long stint to Settle on Monday and trying to keep to 4k rpm but it is so addictive. I can't wait to 1,200 miles when I can push it a bit more. Even though I am running it in it was still at a brisk speed :D

Cheers Mr Wilks, tough choice between those and the 326's but I've always been drawn to the crack ridden 296's, sod it cross that bridge when...

Easy Graham, the chateau nuffe du pape has just gone down to a merlot, any more quips and it'll be a Spanish rijoca for you...
