35is Exhaust Sound = Smile

Hi Folks,

Just a quick update 4 days in. What a car, i've fallen in love with BMW all over again. My M135i never made me feel this. The drive & exhaust note is amazing. Had more looks and comments in 4 days of owning it than in 18 months with the M135i.

The car feels so so special and a lot better built than my old z4 23i. Is this because LCI versions have all the kinks ironed out.

Keeping an i on the DCT as not sure if i need to get used to it or something isn't quite right.

Hoping for nice weather this weekend to detail and give a coating of sealant.

updates soon.

Great to hear your enjoying it. Yip that note is something a little special and if you put it into sport whilst crushing in slower traffic you just get the most lovely rumble and burble.

I almost bought a 23i but went for a 35is instead. Best idea ever!

I found that out recently ... I put the car into sport to stiffen it up over speed humps and get popping and burbling on over run now ... it's great :D

What's up ? It takes a bit of time to adjust to driving style ...

the exhaust note is fab and like mentioned on the other thread, you have to drive the dct auto a bit differently than the standard auto to get the best out of it. not sure bmw have set up the dct like a proper auto

Grooooowllllllllllllll! It is quite a sound! Echo everyone else's thoughts. Watch Armin Van Buuren's "this is what it feels like" video.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BR_DFMUzX4E

Ok so this was a Mustang but not that different. What a sound!

JC :D
