Hi, I've recently had an issue with my 35i E89 Z4 which has now since been fixed by a garage, but it seems a simple fix so thought I'd describe it here.
Symptoms:
Engine warning light came on under high throttle, engine put into safe mode, but is cleared by turning the engine on and off again.
Diagnosis (taken from engineers scribbled notes so forgive any inaccuracies!):
1) EML light coming on when at full throttle, connect to ISTA-D clo(?) vehicle test, find turbo over boost stored.
2) process fault as ness, clo test of turbo, find movement OK, check of VAC lines and VAC pressure, find OK
3) remove pressure converters, detact filter part, find blocked, check VAC release, find poor, cow(?) faulty
4) replace both pressure converters, repeat turbo test module, all OK now

B07.12.9.905.411 - Hex Nut x 4
B11.74.7.626.350 - Pressure Converters x 2
