2010 35i with 23k miles went for £13.990 last night on ebay.

Oddly for a 35i it had 17s on it. I suspect the 18s or 19s got trashed in the accident and 17s were fitted

I tried looking for it under sold listings but nothing but there is another one up but a 2010 for £15k BIN or at 11.6k bidding reserve not met http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/111329625969?nav=SEARCH

I did not know you could have the car removed form the HPI register after all it was a Cat D. If it was just light damage it could have been repaired at a cost that the insurance company would not have to register it in the first place. I'm I missing something here

With a full dvla inspection it is possible to have a cat c or cat d removed if the repair is to OEM standards, I had a cat c inspected and removed in a corsa.

i might have considered it, if it had dct, m sport seats and 326m wheels..... but since it didnt, it wasnt such a great deal

If you're referring to a VIC check, then that doesn't mean that the information is removed from the HPi report. The only thing that gets removed is the flag indicating that a VIC check is required before the next V5C is issued.

If you're referring to some other kind of test, I would be interested in the details of how you go about doing this? But I don't believe you can...
