The 20i & 28i are both 4 pot engines with single turbos , the 35i & Is are 3.0 engines with twin turbos . the 23i & 30i are both straight 6 normally aspirated so have no turbos :(
It is all very confusing & only BMW knows why they decided to play silly buggers with the engine model references :wink: although they were already at it with the 335s & 535s I guess
