Hi All,

Well it peaked over 12 deg C down here in Devon today, no rain so roof off and off we go for a 50 mile zip.

Car is running perfectly, no warning lamps, codes, oil temp normal etc etc.

I reversed into the garage, engine off, popped the hood (always give it a once over when I put it away) and heard a buzzing noise that laste around 2 min! It seemed to be coming from everywhere, fan was not spinning, any ideas anyone?

I have audio but apparently its to difficult to upload .Mp3 to it!!!!!

It's the water pump running to cool the turbos down. That's why there's no need to let the car idle before shutting off.

That makes sense, I still let mine idle though to give the blades time to slow down before I turn it off and it loses oil pressure.
Should the water pump buzz??

If it just sounds like a faint electrical whirring sound when the bonnet is down then it's normal.

I need to upload the audio, surprised the forum does not allow that!
