DCT
Leather black or ivory

I’ve been keeping an eye on these for a wee while, and still am, and not what you want to hear but I think the prices are going up.

There’s a VO one similar to mine, granted slightly lower mileage, but with less spec than mine just gone on sale at over 2k more than mine purchased mid September.

Mine’s is a BMW AUC, the one above isn’t.

Good luck with your search, I love mine, makes me smile every time I drive it and the sound is amazing

Love the VO's

Yes I think you're right on the prices, at the top of the market at least. Seen a fair few low mileage 35is' well into the twenties.

Most likely I'll end up with a cheapish and cheerful 35i, I have found it quite liberating getting rid of my immaculate E85 into a relatively less loved E89 - no longer freaks me out parking in Argos!

Must keep a convertible, love the hard top. The higher the Z4 prices go, the more a 335i or even 435i/440i looks like better value - arguably worse looking though.

This is the VO one and isn’t out of step with the other low mile ones on just now

I get what you’re saying about the darker colours but I would definitely have considered a Havana Brown one bit the OH hated the colour.

Also had a wee nosey at this and more your colour choice and seems reasonably well spec’d. The 35i is only a map away from 360/370

I had thought about a 3/4 series convertible too at some point but doesn’t have that individual and stand out look of the Zed IMO

They are definitely higher, I'm still hoping it's a 'blip'.

The prices shot up around March/April lockdown and haven't really come down.

There have been a few around at reasonable prices but they get snapped up pretty quick.

I'm *fairly* sure this car was listed on the same site for about £4k less by a private seller a few weeks back:

Seems like traders are on the lookout since they are trending higher than usual.

As a side-note and without trying to hijack the thread completely I'm on the lookout for the darker colours that OP doesn't want :p

Hi everyone, after a year in my 35i I am looking to sell simply because I am moving out of the country back home.

2019 car? You mean 2009? Where are you based?

Whoops! Edited to say 2009 car now.

I am based near Sheffield, Leeds, Barnsley or Doncaster. All are within a 30 minute drive from me

I wouldn't be seduced by those other options regardless of the looks issues, unless you might actually need rear seats!

Since about 6 months after I bought my first Z4 I've had 3 petrol straight six 3 Series as my "sensible" dailies, and as good as they all were none of them felt anything like as special as a Z4 to drive.

Forums are a great place for buying and selling too - I sold both my 3.0Sis on here and found my current Coupe here. I also sold my E46 and found my 2nd Z4 on other forums.

My neck of the woods. Can you post any pictures with your ad?
I’ll post up a new thread so as to not hijack further. Might not be tonight, waiting for the photos to convert

It's the power I'm being more seduced by currently - especially if you look at the older/cheaper end of the 335i convertible market, though I appreciate the potential for ending up with a money pit is fairly high.

I try to ignore the seduction as far as possible, as honestly the times you can actually do much more with that power (over and above the 30i) are few and far between - but I always fail :(

But they’re there and by Christ they are fun when they present themselves :driving:

You're not helping :P

   Nobody on here helped me NOT spend money either

Not having previously driven a 30i just the 23i I can’t say performance wise the difference you’d experience but what I can say is the 35iS s just a completely different ballpark to the 23i :driving:

I kept telling myself that when I had my last 3.0Si but still ended up talking myself into replacing it with an M.

If you fancy one and it won't bankrupt you why not get one? In the world we currently live in treating yourself has an extra feel-good factor!

I had the exact same conversation with Andy earlier today :D

I know, I just thought maybe some extra encouragement to spend money might help!

Sounds like you're at tipping point, just need to find the right one.

I joined this forum recently to grab some knowledge and got plenty of encouragement too. Unlike you I'd never driven or even been in a Z4 prior to making my mind up what to get, went straight to the 35iS and by eck what a cracking machine it is too.

Prices are strong at the moment and these cars are selling fast for decent spec cars. I had a budget to play with that wasn't realistic for one of these, Andy is also very guilty of getting me to splash the cash

Gents, I think we’ll call it gentle persuasion/encouragement

Also if my bank balance is taking a hammering I don’t see why yours shouldn’t
