Very low miles for the year, alloys likely refurbed due to age BUT check they haven't been cracked and re-welded as the early 296's are crack prone. 3.0 engine very strong and plenty of grunt despite being N/A, seems a fair asking price to me, maybe get it down to £13.5k, what's not to like? Go for it, it's a lot of car for the money.![]()
Cheers for the input there John.
I thought it looked good so we may take a peek and see what money I can get him down to. The 'boss' would love me to only spend this amount.
Ref: The wheels, is it easy to check for welds?
I think you'll do well to find another with the colours, spec and miles, wants snapping up IMO.
The alloys would probably have a proud weld mark on the inside edge from the tyre rim back as that is where they tend to go, unless it's been welded then ground back and painted in which case you'll have difficulty spotting it, ask the seller, he/she may be honest, worth a shot.
Keep us posted nb67, best of luck, hope it's as good as it looks.
