Yes, Hull to Plymouth with the roof off all the way. I have a lot less hair this morning than I had yesterday :-) despite wind deflector, although it helps a bit, especially with catching flies etc!!, got to clean that today, somehow.

Can anyone beat 350? I smell a competition here, who has the hairiest chest......

Drive was perfect in every way apart from one small and unusual snag see here

Cheers chaps, have a great weekend.

Did Norfolk to Manchester and back in March - 360 miles but it was in an E85 so it may not count

No deflector and windows down - well my other car is a Caterham. Only have the top up if its parked or its raining.

Did just over 950 miles earlier this year, on a tour around the UK doing roof motors :) From Noon on Sat until 1130pm on the Sun..

Roof down all the way, and even overnight whilst I slept, as it was inside a barn!

Mike

I did the italian lakes and Cote D'zure in August roof down for about 1500 of the 2500 miles :D

That was in the S2000 though not that that makes any difference cant wait to use the Zed this weekend with the roof down for the first time

We did Scotland (fort William) to Preston 290 miles - would have been all the way from Skye if it hadn't tipped it down.

Good man  i normally do 220 plymouth to surrey and back with it down, even on the m25! Not quite matching you though. Weather looks good down here for the weekend, especially sunday if you're still here

you need to driver faster lol

I got soaked at 40mph in road works on the motorway, cos I was in road works I couldn't stop to put the roof up, straight out of the road works I picked up speed and then I was ok

Only think I find is the rain rolls over the top of the door glass and runs down near the door switches, that was a bit worring

This was in my old Audi, but in the summer we did a 2600 mile road trip around Europe. Weather was amazing and the roof only came up on the return journey, so roughly 2300 miles over 13 days with it down the entire time.

Thinking about it, we did put it up briefly in Germany when it was crazy hot and were stuck in traffic on the Autobahn, so were baking alive with it down, leather seats and no aircon.

Last year in one day did all the way back from Perth Scotland down to East Sussex, just over 500 miles with roof down all the way.

PVR is my witness.

It's great driving with the roof down when its raining - we did a bit of that on Skye, it takes a really heavy downpour to actually get wet doesn't it (providing you can keep moving!) :driving:

I used to do 842 miles , roof down in one hit , on my way to the Dordogne coming back 4 times a year weather permitting , it was the only way to stay awake for 18 hours

Done many, days with the roof down all day, over the years :D Longest, were the roof was down all the way probably 620 miles, Fort William back to Cornwall, Last year. Thing is, with the sun shining, roof down I'm happy to sit at 55-65 all day long on the M6-M5. So saves on ware and tare and petrol, too. 8)

Good heavens man, you cannot tell Audi stories on here, you will have the chaps spitting feathers...

Did Buckinghamshire to St Tropez earlier this year, in a day, roof only up on the ferry, then two weeks around Europe , France Italy, switerzand etc and only had to put the roof up at night and when we weren't driving . Fabulous two weeks camping , my Mrs who is Turkish originally and never gets sunburned ! Got very burned on the first days driving .
